Create a warm welcome with ochre

These earthy orange tones are naturally inviting.

Orange doesn’t have to be intensely bright. Ochre, for example, is an earthy pigment that can change from a golden yellow shade to a light yellow brown colour. Ochre is the oldest natural pigment we know, used widely in prehistoric art. This most famous example of this ancient colour was found in a series of Stone Age murals painted in caves in France.

From mountains to fields of wheat, ochre tones are associated with all things natural. When used in decorating, they instantly create a cosy and intimate feel. That makes them a perfect choice for entrance halls or in any space where you want to make guests feel at home. Ochre looks especially beautiful with wood furniture and antique metals, like copper and silver.
