Be happy with bold blue hues

In many cultures, the bluebird represents cheerfulness, success and good health. The bird’s shiny sapphire feathers are a clever design– they reflect sunlight to produce an intense blue effect, which explains why they are so attractive. No wonder this beautiful creature is often called the “Bluebird of Happiness!”

Try to introduce the same deep blue tones into a neutral colour scheme. Paint one wall a deep shade of blue, such as ultramarine or cobalt. Then add touches of blue accessories to the room to imitate the vibrant multi-dimensional tones of the bluebird’s feathers. You can even look to the bird’s feathers for an inspiring colour scheme – think blue paired with snowy white, soft grey and flecks of caramel.
